At the end of his bachelor studies, he was awarded by the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) to join a study year in forestry at The Georg-August University, Göttingen, Germany. He recently continued his studies in the United Kingdom, obtaining the degree of MSc. in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics at the University of Birmingham (2009). Between 2010 and 2013 he developed carbon projects for renewable energy, responsible for the regulation and due diligence processes for solar and wind farm projects
Marcos was appointed General Manager of Celtic Solar Group in May 2013 where he has been responsible for origination, negotiation and project assessment and managing the development cycle of the project portfolio. He speaks Spanish, English and German and is married.
